For those of you who don´t know, Daily UI is a site that promises to make you a better designer in 100 days. They give you a daily prompt and you generate a design a day for 100 consecutive DAYS.
Initiated by a Romanian designer named Paul Nechita, the 100 days UI challenge is one of the most well-known challenges of the Internet. I would recommend visiting Daily UI if you'd like to take part in this experiment. Once you register, you will receive an email every day with a challenge so that you can complete a total of 100.
Nevertheless, the task is more challenging than it seems. A study shows that less than 20% of participants are still participating in the study after 40 days. The reason for this drastic drop in the participation rate is not likely to be laziness. It is a question of whether the Challenge is too challenging for UI designers or if it has no practical utility.
Figma provides a free library of screens and elements called 100 Daily UI Challenge. Each of them can be customized by changing colors, shapes, or elements. There is a lot of potentials to create some pretty cool UI designs and improve your products. It is free to use for both personal and commercial purposes.
It can be used as a starting point for the design of your next app idea, design system, or high fidelity prototype. In the site are some pretty cool projects you can create!
